The TK40 preamp is probably the most fully featured preamp you'll find on a guitar in this price range. Takamine pride themselves on the quality of their amplified acoustic tones, and even the cheapest in their range of electro-acoustics always have GREAT preamps. 3 Band EQ and gain are of course standard, but Takamine throws in an LED Chromatic tuner, notch filter (to eliminate feedback) and a Preset EQ curve to enhance your amplified sound quickly.

The EG511SSC is a Dreadnought shaped body with cutaway for a good balance between supporting bass without being too boomy - great for a solo singing guitarist.
