At the heart of the AC MINI is a newly developed analog design, the VOX Dynamic Response Circuit. Designed by the same team behind the acclaimed VOX AC Hand-Wired Series, this circuit harnesses the natural compression, rich harmonics, and dynamic response commonly found in classic tube amps.

Expertly crafted on-board reverb

A new, carefully tuned digital reverb was developed and voiced specifically for the AC MINI.

The VOX engineering team's goal was to bring the distinctive warmth and subtle movement of a classic spring tank reverb to the compact design of the AC MINI. After extensive analysis and critical listening, the reverb was carefully tuned to add natural depth and sustain, encouraging you to dig in and play.

Sound beyond its size

The cabinet design of the AC MINI was carefully engineered to enhance low-end response while maintaining a balanced overall frequency range.

The cabinet is constructed using engineered wood, commonly known as MDF. MDF offers balanced mass and natural resonance that works in tandem with the bass-reflex design of the AC MINI, resulting in real amp-like resonance and presence that exceeds expectations for a compact amp.

The analog circuit allows your guitars to shine through whether you play single-coils, humbuckers, or anything in between, your guitar always sounds like it should. It responds naturally to your guitar's controls and pick attack, cleaning up as you roll back the volume and reacting with energy when pushed and played hard.

When you need more gain and sustain, the onboard BOOST switch naturally pushes the preamp into musical overdrive, adding presence and harmonic overtones.
